ASUU finally calls off strike

ASUU STRIKE - The news filtered in yesterday but it wasn't confirmed. It's now been confirmed. After more than five months, the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) has officially called off its strike action starting from today December17th. They announced their decision at a press conference today

The strike was called off after a meeting in Minna, Niger State yesterday, days after ASUU signed a new agreement with the Federal Government. They have ordered lecturers to resume immediately. Congratulations, students!
